FUNCTION

Ngoc Bao Biomedical Research Institute operates in the fields of science and technology related to biomedical materials, implanted medical devices, dental materials, medical 3D printing technology, stem cell technology and regenerative science, and research on the application of artificial intelligence to support the diagnosis and treatment of cancer.

DUTY

  • Undertake tasks of scientific research (topics, projects) in the fields of biological materials, materials, implanted medical devices, dental materials, 3D printing, AI (artificial intelligence).
  • Research and test biocompatibility of domestically produced biomedical materials and medical devices (according to ISO 10993).
  • Consult, evaluate, and criticize programs, projects, and topics; applying and transferring research results; providing scientific and technological services; training, enhancing professional qualifications; organizing conferences, seminars, and exchanging information; disseminating knowledge in the research areas mentioned above.
  • Consulting, designing, and manufacturing implanted medical devices, aesthetic shaping using 3D printing technology from biomedical materials (such as PEEK, Titanium). 
  • Establish connections and collaborate with domestic and international organizations and individuals to fulfill the institute’s missions.
